We were proud to watch the USA game and both # 9 Matt Rust and # 8 Kevin Shattenkirk.

Canadian Alumni

Hi everyone,

It was with real pleasure that we watched a few Northern Ontario boys (Katic and Bastien) playing for team Canada today.  Sudbury boy and ECS alumni, Yves Bastien wore #16 for Canada, while South Porcupine (Timmins) player Mark Katic wore #17.  Both boys are products of the Northern Ontario Major Bantam AAA and Great North Midget AAA leagues.  Check out the photo album to the left for photos of the fans and other action you won't want to miss.  The Canadian cheerleaders came from a local Finnish school who selected Canada as "their" team.  They wore Canadian regalia, painted their faces and made posters to ensure that the Canadian boys knew they were there.
